Southampton District Branch of UNISON represents members in a wide range of public services.
Our members work for Southampton City Council; Solent University; Southampton’s schools and colleges’; and numerous private and not for profit organisations.
How we support our members
UNISON offers advice and representation to members; negotiates and bargains on their behalf; campaigns for better working conditions and pay; and stands up for public services.
Our friendly local team works hard, to support members with the issues that affect you at work.
Mark Roberts is Branch Secretary, and he leads a team of officers and reps, who can offer help if you’ve got a workplace problem. Our Branch also has access to locally based full time officers; and UNISON has a regional office in Southampton. We can also call on national advice; and legal assistance from our solicitors; to help UNISON members in our city.
